vacation.

Tomorrow we leave for a two week vacation. The first week we will spend in Paris. Andrea's sister from her host family when she visited France in high school is kindly giving us a place to stay and showing us around the city. Our Paris itinerary is delightfully lacking specifics except eating a lot of good food. Next Tuesday we fly into Pisa where we will glance at some failed architecture and make our way to the coast. The next week will be spent in Cinque Terre, five small villages along the coast.

Our base camp, which is a small flat, is in the southern most village, Riomaggiore. When we get back, I will know exactly how to pronounce that. Here is a picture of Riomaggiore:

We'll be back on April 13th. There will be a lot of pictures. If we run into the internet, we'll throw a quick post up. Otherwise have a happy Easter, and we'll see you when we get back.
